This year's conference offers up-to-date information about how officials can best support their counties.
Legislative years always bring changes for county officials and this year’s 86th legislative session was no exception. The 2019 state conference will offer up-to-date information on the impact of recent state legislation and show how officials can best support their counties, gear up, and create strategies for success. Our conference begins with a message from state officials, a legislative update from your general counsel, Jim Allison, and a panel of legislators discussing pressing county issues.
This CJCAT conference will provide valuable information on important topics to assist with your daily operations as an elected official. Plus it’s a great opportunity to get to know fellow judges and commissioners.
Co-sponsored by the V.G. Young Institute of County Government, a part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
