Position Description, Responsibilities, Requirements and Application Instructions
The Crosby County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for Patrol Deputy. Crosby County is just East of Lubbock with approximately 930 square miles. Crosby County Sheriff's Office patrols county and local communities within the county. Patrol Deputy duties include enforcing state and local laws, assisting local agencies and being pro-active. Essential duties include: Enforcing traffic code, answering emergency calls, taking complaints, and investigating crimes. Also transporting inmates, courtroom bailiff duties, report writing, civil process and serving warrants. Applicant must be certified peace officer with state of Texas. Experience is preferred. Starting salary is $32,000 to $36,000 a year with benefits including, medical, retirement, paid vacation and sicks days.
