Virtual CLG Training: Legislative Interim Best Practices
The 89th Texas Legislature convenes Jan. 14, and the Texas Association of Counties' Legislative Services wants you to be prepared. TAC will offer the first in a series of statewide virtual trainings opportunities for Core Legislative Group (CLG) members from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10. 

A distinguished three-person panel with extensive Capitol experience will share their perspectives on how county officials can use the legislative interim to best prepare for effective engagement with the 89th Legislature. 

Attendees can expect to learn about testifying before House or Senate committee, building relationships with legislators and their staffs, and developing legislative proposals.
